All'inizio, un musicista avanza sul davanti della scena  col suo violoncello, si sistema e inizia a suonare. Presto viene a prender posto al suo fianco il danzatore.
Ma quello che si annuncia come un duo, verrà presto  interrotto dai gesti sempre più veementi del danzatore che finiscono per provocare l'allontanamento del musicista.
Tutta la pièce oscilla nell'alternanza  tra un possibile «essere insieme» e l'«essere singolo ».

Costruendo la sua pièce attorno al paradigma del dolore e della solitudine, Antonio Montanile affronta ciò che lo spinge a danzare, i postumi presenti  nel suo corpo e le tracce di una violenta sofferenza vissuta nel passato.
Un fascio di nervi si sviluppa come una sorta di  rapporto dialogico in cui il ritmo, tra sospensione e sollievo, sottolinea gli indugi dei due protagonisti nel loro tentativo di approccio.

Un fascio di Nervi - première étude sarà presentato dal 5 al 7 Novembre alla Maison de la Danse di Lione.

Antonio Montanile studia danza all'Accademia Isola Danza della Biennale di Venezia e successivamente diventa danzatore della compagnia di Carolyn Carlson, con la quale partecipa a diversi spettacoli. In seguito lavora con la Compagnia Abbondanza/Bertoni e con Caterina Sagna per gli spettacoli Relation Publique, Heil Tanz! e Basso Ostinato. Come coreografo firma Quduo (2001), Punto con Fondo (2002) e Niedich (2003).

At the beginning, a musician comes to the front of the stage with his cello, sits down and starts to play. Soon the dancer takes his place beside him.
But what promised to be a duo is quickly interrupted by the increasingly impetuous gestures of the dancer that in the end cause the musician to move away.
The whole piece fluctuates between a possible "togetherness" and "singleness".
Constructing his piece around the paradigm of pain and loneliness, Antonio Montanile deals with what makes him dance, the after-affects present in his body and the traces of violent suffering experienced in the past.
Un fascio di nervi develops as a kind of relation in dialogue in which the rhythm, poised between suspension and relief, underlines the hesitations of the two protagonists in their tentative approach.

Antonio Montanile studied dance at the Accademia Isola Danza of the Venice Biennale and then became a dancer in Carolyn Carlson's company, with which he took part in a number of shows.
