Dicono che Maria Maddalena fosse la fidanzata dell'apostolo Giovanni, da lui abbandonata per seguire Gesù.
Sembra una storia unica.
Forse è solo una storia come tante.
Sembra quasi una storia della sera, una di quelle a cui ripensi prima di dormire e te la ritrovi nei sogni.
E' una storia d'amore.
Di quell'amore che non si sa bene se sia una vocazione o una malattia, di quello che non si vorrebbe avere addosso perché è come un angelo che pesa sulle spalle.
Anche se ti sorride.
Anche se dormi in due, anche se il cuore batte e sembra sigillato in un sacchetto.
E' una storia di luce e di suono.
E' la storia che si può sentire se ti siedi in un angolo e stai ad aspettare.
O se guardi nel vuoto e vai giù anche tu.
E comincia la prova.
L'ennesima prova.
Un po' di quell'attesa, un po' di quel vuoto, un po' di quell'amore.

They say that Mary Magdalene was the fiancée of  John the apostle, who abandoned her to follow Jesus.

It seems a unique story

Perhaps it's only a story like many.

It seems almost a story of the evening, one to think about before you fall asleep, that finds you again in your dreams.

It is a love story

Of a love you're not sure is a vocation or an illness, a love you don't want to carry because its like an angel weighing on your shoulder.

Even if you smile.

Even if you sleep together, even if your heart beats and seems sealed in a bag.

It is a story of light and sound.

It is the story that you hear if you sit in a corner to wait.

Or if you look into the void and go down yourself.

The rehearsal starts.

The thousandth rehearsal.

A little of that waiting, a little of that emptiness, a little of that love.

Valentina Capone

Valentina Capone, actress and director, trained at the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico. She attended DAMS in Bologna and from 1995 to 2001 was a member of the Leo-Teatro Laboratorio San Leonardo, working side by side with Leo de Berardinis both as actress and assistant director.  In 2001 she founded the Associazione Teatro Laboratorio San Leonardo together with other associates of  Leo De Berardinis.  In 2002 she debuted with the monologue Sole drawn from The Trojans by Euripides.  From 2003 she performed in the shows: La Bellezza, 4:48 Psycosis  by Sarah Kane and I Costruttori d'Imperi by Boris Vian, all directed by Davide Iodice.  From 2001 she has been the artistic director of FESTTEATRO Tirano.

Silvia Pasello, actress and director, began her training with the Teatro Nucleo di Ferrara. In 1980 she took part in a theatrical research project with the CSRT di Pontedera, meeting experts from different theatrical schools and traditions.  In particular she studied the self-teaching method of Ingemar Lindh. In 1985 she met the Belgian director Thierry Salmon, with whom she worked on various projects, winning two UBU prizes for her roles in A. da Agata (1986) and Temiscira 3 (1998). She received another UBU prize in 1997 for Macbeth Horror Suite by Carmelo Bene. She also worked on various productions by the CSRT directed by Raul Ruiz, Dario Marconcini and Paolo Billi.

At the end of the 1990s she worked with the Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio (Voyage au bout de la nuit, Buchettino). She has collaborated over many years with the Compagnia Laboratorio di Pontedera. Roberto Bacci has directed her in productions such as In carne e ossa (1990), Fratelli dei cani (1991), Il raglio dell'asino (2003) and Aspettando Godot (2005).

As a director Silvia Pasello has been active in various productions, the most recent being Il Cantico dei cantici.
